ORDINANCE NO. 1346

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

 

WHEREAS, the portion of street hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

 

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction:

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That the following portion of street within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to-wit:

 

That portion of 9th Street in the City of Grand Junction from the North right-of-way line of Gunnison Avenue to the South right-of-way line of Hill Avenue

 

be and the same is hereby vacated, subject to easements for existing utilities and drainage.

 

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of February, 1970.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1346, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 21st day of January, 1970, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
