ORDINANCE NO. 1348

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF ALLEY WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

 

WHEREAS, the portion of alley hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

 

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction:

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That the following portion of alley within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to-wit:

 

That 15-foot North-South Alley between Harr's Addition to the City of Grand Junction and Lot 18 of Capitol Hill Sub-Division, from North right-of-way line of North Avenue to South right-of-way line of Glenwood Avenue,

 

be and the same is hereby vacated.

 

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of March, 1970.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1348, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 8th day of January, 1970, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
