ORDINANCE NO. 1354

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION

WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described is wholly owned by the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, and, is not solely a public street or right-of-way; and

WHEREAS, the City is desirous of annexing the territory to the City of Grand Junction;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

THAT the following described property be and it is hereby annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to-wit:

The Northwest one quarter of the Northwest one quarter of Section 26 of Township One South of Range One West of the Ute Meridian and that part of Lot 1 of Section 27 of Township One South of Range One West of the Ute Meridian which lies East of the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad right-of-way.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May, 1970.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1354, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 15th day of April, 1970, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
