ORDINANCE NO. 1357

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION

WHEREAS, the portion of street hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the following portion of street within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to-wit:

Beginning at the Southwest Corner of Lot 8, First Addition Northern Hills Subdivision, as recorded with the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder's office in Book 9, Page 198, thence North 18° 52' East 53.63 feet, thence along the arc of a 750-foot radius curve to right for 93.11 feet (the chord of which bears South 54° 26' West 87.25 feet,) thence East 53.63 feet to the Southwest Corner of said Lot 8 and the point of beginning,

be and the same is hereby vacated.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of May, 1970.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1357, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 6th day of May, 1970, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
