ORDINANCE NO. 1371
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO
(O. M. Cemeteries)
WHEREAS, on the 5th day of August, 1970, the City Council of the City of Grand Junction considered a petition for annexation of the following described territory to the City of Grand Junction; and
WHEREAS, the City Council determined that said territory was eligible for annexation and that no election was necessary to determine whether such territory should be annexed as the petition was signed by the owners of one hundred per cent of the territory petitioned for annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
That the following described territory, to-wit:
That part of the Southeast One Quarter of the Northeast One Quarter of Section 27, Township One South, Range One West, of the Ute Meridian, which lies East of the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad right of way and the Southwest One Quarter of the Northwest One Quarter of Section 26, Township One South, Range One West, of the Ute Meridian. All in Mesa County, Colorado,
be, and the same is hereby, annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, 1970.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of September, 1970.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1371, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 5th day of August, 1970, and that the same was published in the Daily Sentinel a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
