ORDINANCE NO. 1372

 

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION CONCERNING APPLICATIONS FOR DRIVER'S LICENSE FOR A VEHICLE FOR HIRE AND CONCERNING QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCH LICENSE.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

1. That Section 30-22 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as follows:

 

Sec. 30-22. FELON NOT TO RECEIVE DRIVER'S LICENSE.

 

No person who has been convicted of a felony involving a crime against the person as that is defined in the Colorado Revised Statutes or of the crimes of burglary, theft, or embezzlement shall be licensed to drive a taxi-cab.

 

2. That Section 30-17 (e) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction is hereby repealed.
