ORDINANCE NO. 1373

 

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

 

WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described is wholly owned by the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, and, is not solely a public street or right of way; and

 

WHEREAS, the City is desirous of annexing the territory to the City of Grand Junction;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That the following described property to-wit:

 

The southwest one-quarter of the northeast one-quarter of the northwest one-quarter of Section 26, Township One South, Range One West, Ute Meridian; and the north one-half of the northwest one-quarter of the southeast one-quarter of the northwest one-quarter of Section 26, Township One South, Range One West Ute Meridian; all in Mesa County, Colorado, (East Cemetery Annexation)

 

be, and the same is hereby, annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado.

 

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of October, 1970.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1373, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 16th day of September, 1970, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
