ORDINANCE NO. 1377
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING CERTAIN SUMS OF MONEY TO DEFRAY THE NECESSARY EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1971, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1971, AND FIXING THE SALARY OF THE CITY MANAGER OF SAID CITY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
Section 1. That the following sums of money, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same are hereby appropriated for the purpose of defraying the necessary expenses and liabilities of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1971, and ending December 31, 1971, said sums to be derived from the various revenue funds as indicated:

The following sum shall be appropriated to the Finance Department, said sum to be derived from charges to various departments using materials stocked in "Stores Inventory" and having printing done by the City printing operation and services rendered by Data Processing.
For Stores, Printing, & Data Processing Division in the Finance Department . . . $207,478
Revenue from Stores & Printing Fund: $162,463
Revenue from Data Processing Fund: 45,015
The following sum shall be appropriated to the Equipment Division, said sum to be derived from equipment rentals to be charged the various departments of the City for use of said equipment from the appropriations of their respective departments.

Section 2. That the following amounts are hereby levied for collection in the year 1971 and for the specific purpose indicated.
For General fund (based on General Fund Appropriation) Fourteen mills (14.0) . . . 590,940
Section 3. That commencing January 1, 1971, the salary of the City Manager of the City of Grand Junction, shall be Nineteen thousand dollars per annum.
