ORDINANCE NO. 1387
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY WITHIN THE
CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION
WHEREAS, the alley hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
That the following alley within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to-wit:
The East-West Alley in Block 21 of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado,
be and the same is hereby vacated, provided however, that such former alleyway shall be and become a permanent easement for utility purpose, and provided further that unless two buildings providing at least fifteen living units have been constructed within two years the alley shall revert to its original status as an alleyway.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of March, 1971.
