ORDINANCE NO. 1403

 

 

 AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF STREET WITHIN THE

 CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION

 

 WHEREAS, the portion of street hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

 

 WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction:

 

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

 That the following portions of South Eleventh Street within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:

 

 Commencing at the Northwest Corner of Block 16, Milldale Subdivision thence West 10 feet; thence South to a point which is 10 feet West of the Southwest Corner of Block 16; thence East to the Southwest Corner of Block 16; thence North to the point of beginning; and

 

 Commencing at the Northeast Corner of Lot 16, Block 17, Milldale Sub­division; thence East 10 feet; thence South to a point which is 10 feet East of the Southwest Corner of Lot 16, Block 17, of said subdivision; thence West 10 feet; thence North to the point of beginning; and

 

 Commencing at the Northeast Corner of Lot 17, Block 17, Milldale Sub­division; thence East 10 feet, thence South to a point which is 10 feet East of the Southwest Corner of Lot 17, Block 17, of said subdivision; thence West 10 feet; thence North to the point of beginning,

 

 be, and the same is, hereby vacated, subject to easements for existing utilities.

 

   PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of September, 1971.
