ORDINANCE NO. 1414

 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING CERTAIN SUMS OF MONEY TO DEFRAY THE NECESSARY EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1972, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1972, AND FIXING THE SALARY OF THE CITY MANAGER OF SAID CITY

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 Section 1. That the following sums of money, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same are hereby appropriated for the purpose of defraying the necessary expenses and liabilities of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1972, and ending December 31, 1972, said sums to be derived from the various revenue funds as indicated:

For the expenditures of the General Fund    $ 2,251,927.

For the expenditures of the Streets and

      Storm Drainage Fund       761,071.

For the expenditures of the Water-Sewer Fund     1,537,586.

For the expenditures of the Sanitation Fund     244,485.

For the expenditures of the Swimming Pools Fund    29,965.

For the expenditures of the Cemetery Fund    56,816.

For the expenditures of the Park Improvement Fund  18,159.

 TOTAL 1972               $4,92O,OO9.

 The following sum shall be appropriated to the Finance Department, said sum to be derived from charges to various departments using materials stocked in "Stores Inventory" and having printing done by the City printing operation and services rendered by Data Processing.

 For Stores, Printing, & Data Processing Division

 in the Finance Department . . . . . . . . . . . $266,676.

   Revenue from Stores & Printing Fund: $213,644.

  Revenue from Data Processing Fund: 53,032.

 The following sum shall be appropriated to the Equipment Division, said sum to be derived from equipment rentals to be charged the various departments of the City for use of said equipment from the appropriations of their respective departments.

 For Equipment Division in the Public Works Dept . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $508,511

  Revenue from Equipment Fund: $ 508,511

 Section 2. That the following amounts are hereby levied for collection in the year 1972 and for the specific purpose indicated.

 For General Fund (based on General Fund Appropriation)

 Fourteen mills (14.0) . . . . . . . . . . . . . $620,000

 Section 3. That commencing January 1, 1972, the salary of the City Manager of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, shall be One thousand six hundred and sixty two dollars per month.
