ORDINANCE NO. 1419
AN ORDINANCE VACATING PORTIONS OF STREETS AND ALLEY WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION
WHEREAS, the portions of streets and alley hereinafter described, although platted, have not been opened or used as such and have been petitioned for vacation; and
WHEREAS, the vacation of said portions of streets and alley would not deprive anyone of access to property and would be beneficial to the orderly development of the land which it affects; and
WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
1. That the following portions of streets and alley within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:
That twenty five foot right of way named Hall Avenue as dedicated North of Block 1, First Addition, Tula Subdivision; and
That twenty foot East-West alley in said Block 1, First Addition, Tula Subdivision; and
The North twenty feet of the Northeast Quarter, Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 7, Township 1 South, Range 1 East, Ute Meridian, EXCEPT the East thirty feet thereof,
be, and the same are, hereby vacated.
PASSED and adopted this 1st day of March, 1972.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1419, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 16th day of February, 1972, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
