ORDINANCE NO. 1420
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION
WHEREAS, the portion of street hereinafter described, although platted, has not been opened or used as such and has been petitioned for vacation; and
WHEREAS, the vacation of said portion of street would not deprive anyone of access to property and would be beneficial to the orderly development of the land which it affects; and
WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
1. That the following portion of street within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:
That part of Bookcliff Avenue right of way North of Lot 19 of Block 6 of Fairmount Subdivision, except that portion of such right of way in the Grand Valley Irrigation Company canal bank road,
be, and the same is, hereby vacated.
PASSED and adopted this first day of March, 1972.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1420, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 16th day of February, 1972, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
