ORDINANCE NO. 1427

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF STREET RIGHT OF WAY IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

WHEREAS, the vacation of the portion of a street right of way hereinafter described would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof, and would be beneficial to the interest of the public;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

That the sixty foot right of way for Bookcliff Avenue beginning at the East line of North 13th Street right of way and extending Easterly three hundred feet

be, and the same hereby is, vacated.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of May, 1972.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1427, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 3rd day of May, 1972, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
