ORDINANCE NO. 1444

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION

WHEREAS, the portion of street hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the following portion of street within the City of Grand Junction:

Commencing at the Northeast Corner (NE Cor.) of Lot 1, Block 4, Cindy Ann Subdivision, a subdivision in the City of Grand Junction as filed in the records of Mesa County, Colorado; thence North 00° 02' 00" West, 726.00 feet; thence North 85° 02' 00" West, 14.52 feet to the true point of beginning; thence along the arc of a circular curve to the right whose radius is 50.00 feet and whose long chord bears North 85° 02' 00" West, 68.33 feet; thence South 85° 02' 00" East, 68.33 feet to the true point of beginning.

Also, commencing at said Northeast Corner (NE Cor.) of Lot 1, Block 4, Cindy Ann Subdivision; thence North 00° 02' 00" West, 776.19 feet to the true point of beginning; thence North 85° 02' 00" West, 140.75 feet; thence along the arc of a circular curve to the right whose radius is 70.00 feet and whose long chord bears North 78° 18' 14" East, 40.14 feet; thence South 85° 02' 00" East, 14.68 feet; thence along the arc of a circular curve to the right whose radius is 50.00 feet and whose long chord bears South 85° 01' 57" East, 86.60 feet; thence South 00° 02' 00" East, 11.55 feet to the true point of beginning,

be, and the same is, hereby vacated.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of November, 1972.
