ORDINANCE NO. 1455

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP, A PART

OF CHAPTER 32 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF

THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, BY ADDING THERETO

THE ZONING ON CERTAIN LANDS WITHIN THE CITY.

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the Zoning Map, a part of Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances of

the City of Grand Junction, be amended by adding thereto the zoning on the

following described land, situate in the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County,

Colorado, to wit:

The North Two-thirds of the South Three-quarters of the

Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 23

of Township 1 South of Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian.

The North One-half of the Southwest Quarter of the South-

west Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; The North One-half

of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; and the

Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 24,

all in Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Ute Meridian.

The Northeast One Quarter of the Northeast One Quarter

of the Northeast One Quarter of Section 23 of Township 1

South of Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian

The Southeast One Quarter of the Southwest One Quarter of

the Northwest One Quarter of Section 24 of Township 1

South of Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian,

to the zoning category I-2 (Heavy Industry).

 PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of March, 1973.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No.

1455, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the

City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 7th day of March, 1973, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said city at least ten days before its final passage.
