ORDINANCE NO. 1458

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 18-12 OF THE CODE OF

ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION CONCERNING

THE CONSTRUCTION AND RECONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS IN

THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 That Section 18-12 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand

Junction be amended to read as follows:

Sec. 18-12. ASSESSMENT OF SIDEWALK COSTS.

The whole cost of construction of sidewalks and

necessary grading and removal of obstructions shall be

assessed upon the lots or lands in front of which such

improvements are made. The whole cost of reconstruction

of sidewalks will be assessed upon the lots or lands in

front of which such improvements are made or as the City

Council may direct.
