ORDINANCE NO. 1462

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 19 OF CHAPTER

18 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF

GRAND JUNCTION TO INCREASE TAP FEES FOR

TAPPING ONTO THE CITY'S SEWERAGE SYSTEM

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 That Section 19 of Chapter 18 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as follows:

 Sec. 18-19. ASSESSMENTS IN SEWER DISTRICTS.

The assessment in sewer districts shall be as follows:

Water Capital Plant

Service Improvement Investment

Size Charge Fee Total

1" or less $1,050. + $150. = $1,200.

1-1/2" 1,400. + 200. = 1,600.

2" 1,900. + 300. = 2,200.

4" 3,650. + 500. = 4,150.

6" 5,650. + 700. = 6,350.

Such assessment shall be made against all of the improved

property in the district at the time of the installation

of the sewers in the district.

Connection to the city's sewerage system other than in a

district shall be as stated in Section 25 1 (c) of this Code.
