ORDINANCE NO. 1467

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF ALLEY WITHIN THE

CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION

  WHEREAS, the portion of alley hereinafter described has been petitioned

for vacation; and

 

 WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission,

would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental

to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction:

 

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

GRAND JUNCTION:

 

 That the following portion of alley within the City of Grand Junction,

Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:

 

That part of the twenty foot alley between

Fifth Street and Sixth Street lying South

of Lots 5 through 11 inclusive and North

of Lots 22 through 28 inclusive in Block 73,

City of Grand Junction,

be, and the same is, hereby vacated subject to easements for existing utilities.

 

 PASSED and ADOPTED this l9th day of September, 1973.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being ordinance No. 1467,

was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City

of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the

5th day of September, 1973, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
