ORDINANCE NO. 1471

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF EASEMENT

IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION

 WHEREAS, the vacation of a portion of easement hereinafter described

has been requested and would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand

Junction or the inhabitants thereof, and would be beneficial to the interest

the public; and

 

 WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission

and City Engineer and would not deprive anyone of access to property nor deprive anyone of availability of utilities or drainage;

 

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

 That the portion of easement over, along and across the following

described property:

 

The South three feet of that fifteen foot

utility and drainage easement running along

the north portion of Lot 5 in Walker Heights

Subdivision, Mesa County, Colorado, such

vacation to leave intact the fifteen foot

easement for such purposes along the west

of said lot and to leave intact the five

foot easement as platted on the northeasterly

portion of said lot,

be, and the same hereby is, vacated.

 

 PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of October, 1973.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1471,

was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City

Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 3rd

day of October, 1973, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel,

a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
