ORDINANCE NO. 1477
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF STREET
WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.
WHEREAS, the portion of street hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation: and
WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Department and City Engineer, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not
be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
That the following portion of street within the City of Grand Junction
Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:
Commencing at a point forty feet West of the Northwest
corner of Block 15, Milldale Subdivision; thence North thirty
feet to South line of the Northeast quarter Northeast quarter Northeast quarter of Section 23, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Principal Meridian; thence East 484 feet along the South line of the Northeast quarter Northeast quarter Northeast quarter
of said Section 23; thence South thirty feet; thence West
484 feet to the point of beginning,
be, and the same is, hereby vacated, subject to easements for existing utilities and drainage.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of November, 1973.
