ORDINANCE NO. 1480

 

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES TO THE

CEMETERY FUND AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, there has been insufficient revenue to properly operate the

Cemetery fund for the year 1973,

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

GRAND JUNCTION:

 

1. That there be appropriated from the General Fund Account

(0100-05-00) to Cemetery Revenue Fund (0800-72-01) the sum of Ten Thousand

Dollars ($10,000.00) to be expended from Cemetery Fund Account (080-35-903)

as may be necessary.

 

2. This ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public

health, safety and welfare and shall become effective upon passage for purpose stated.

 PASSED and ADOPTED this l9th day of December, 1973.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing emergency ordinance, entitled

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES TO THE CEMETERY FUND AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY was introduced, read, passed and adopted as an emergency ordinance, numbered 1480 and ordered published by the unanimous vote of the members of the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the l9th day of December, 1973.
