ORDINANCE NO. 1501

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION

WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described is wholly owned by the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, and, is not solely a public street or right of way; and

WHEREAS, the City is desirous of annexing the territory to the City of Grand Junction;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the following described property be, and it is hereby, annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:

Beginning at a point thirty feet South of the Northwest Corner of the Northeast quarter Northwest quarter of Section 7, Township 1 South, Range 1 East of the Ute Meridian, thence South 350 feet; thence East 420 feet; thence North 350 feet; thence West 420 feet to the point of beginning, Mesa County, Colorado.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of April, 1974.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1501, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 3rd day of April, 1974, and that the same was published in the Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
