ORDINANCE NO. 1502
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION
WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described is wholly owned by the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, and is not solely a public street or right of way; and
WHEREAS, the City is desirous of annexing the territory to the City of Grand Junction;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
That the following described property be, and it is hereby, annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Southeast quarter Northwest quarter Section 15, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Ute Meridian, Mesa County, Colorado; thence running East on a true meridian 1,320 feet to the Southeast corner of said Southeast quarter Northwest quarter; thence North along the East line of the said Southeast quarter Northwest quarter of said Section 15 to the right of way of the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad, fifty feet from the center of the main track; thence North 40° 44' West along said right of way for 131 feet; thence South 61° 33' West 1,408 feet to the West line of said Southeast quarter Northwest quarter; thence South to beginning.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of April, 1974.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1502, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 3rd of April, 1974, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
