ORDINANCE NO. 1530

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF STREET IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION

WHEREAS, the vacation of the portion of street hereinafter described would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof, and would be beneficial to the interest of the public;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

That a portion of Margie Street right of way described as follows:

Beginning at a point which is 247.14 feet West and South 00° 38' West 315 feet from the Northeast corner of the Southeast quarter Northeast quarter Section 10 Township 1 South Range 1 West Ute Meridian; thence West 264.5 feet; thence North 00° 38' East 10 feet, thence East 264.5 feet, thence South 00° 38' West 10 feet to the point of beginning, in Mesa County, Colorado,

be, and the same hereby is, vacated subject to easement for existing utilities.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 16th day of October, 1974.
