ORDINANCE NO. 1539

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES TO THE SANITATION FUND AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, expenditures in the Sanitation Fund have exceeded revenues in such fund by the sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00),

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

1. That there be appropriated from the General Fund (01) the sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) to the Sanitation Fund (06) to be expended therefrom to meet the deficit therein.

2. This ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and shall become effective upon passage for purpose stated.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of December, 1974.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing emergency ordinance entitled AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES TO THE SANITATION FUND AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY was introduced, read, passed and adopted as an emergency ordinance, numbered 1539 and ordered published by the unanimous vote of the members of the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 18th day of December, 1974.
