ORDINANCE NO. 1599
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE TERMS OF A PARKING LOT LEASE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
THAT the lease dated November 6, 1974 between the First United Methodist Church of Grand Junction, Colorado, as lessor, and the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, as lessee, which is upon the following terms:
1. Property description is Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 in Block 82 of the City of Grand Junction;
2. Purpose is for use as a parking lot;
3. Period of Lease is until terminated by either party, but the lessor may not terminate until the lessee has received from its share of rentals or other payments from lessee, the non-recoverable costs of installing, blacktopping, landscaping, meters, striping, bumper blocks and signs and possible costs of removing same;
4. Rental is one-half of all parking meter revenue derived from the property;
is hereby ratified, approved and affirmed.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of December, 1975.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1599, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 3rd day of December, 1975, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
