ORDINANCE NO. 1605

 

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 32 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION TO PROVIDE A NEW CATEGORY FOR ON-PREMISES CONSUMPTION OF LIQUOR OR FERMENTED MALT BEVERAGE LICENSED PREMISES AND RESTRICTING THEIR LOCATION.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

1. That Section 3, Subsection a(4) of Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances be amended by the addition of a use group 4.9 which shall read as follows:

 

4.9 On Premises Consumption of Liquor or Fermented Malt Beverage Licensed Premises . . .

 

consists of premises licensed under hotel-restaurant liquor license, beer and wine license, or fermented malt beverage license for consumption on the premises.

 

2. That the following zoning districts of Subsection b of Section 3 of Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended as follows:

 

A. That Section 4 of Permitted Uses under Subsection (17) be amended by the addition thereto of an allowed business use 4.9.

 

B. That Subsections (6), (9), (10), (11), (12), (13) and (15) be amended by the addition of business use 4.9 as a conditional use in each of said categories.
