ORDINANCE NO. 1612

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF A STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION

WHEREAS, the portion of the street hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the following portion of a street within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:

Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Block 8 of Fairmount Subdivision, thence East 14 feet, thence South 600 feet parallel to the East line said Block 8, thence West 14 feet to the Southeast Corner said Block 8, thence North to the point of Beginning

be, and the same is, hereby vacated, subject to easement for utilities.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of February, 1976.
