ORDINANCE NO. 1615

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

 

WHEREAS, the easement hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

 

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction:

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That the following easement within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:

 

Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 2, Block 1, Olympic Acres Subdivision, thence North along East line said Lot 2 to the Northeast corner said Lot 2, thence Northwesterly along Easterly lot line Lot 5 said Block 1 15 feet, thence South 69° 35' West 10 feet, thence Southeasterly to a point on the South line said Lot 5 which point is 10 feet West of the Southeast corner said Lot 5, thence South on a line parallel to the East line of Lot 2 said Block 1 to the south line said Lot 2, thence along said South line to the point of beginning,

 

be, and the same is hereby vacated.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of March, 1976.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1615, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 18th day of February, 1976, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
