ORDINANCE NO. 1625

 

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING DEFINITION OF DRIVE-IN BUSINESS IN THE ZONING ORDINANCE.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That Section 5.1 of Subsection (5) of Subsection (a) of Section 3 of Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as follows:

 

"Section 3. Zone Classifications.

 

a. Use Groups:

 

(5) Commercial Use . . .

 

5.1 Drive-In Business . . . consists of establishments where people drive into specified areas where their needs are served while they remain in their automobiles or where a significant portion of the business is provided by people who order and/or pick up take-out food on the premises. This use may include a drive-in laundry, dry cleaning pick-up station, a drive-in bank or a drive-in restaurant."
