ORDINANCE NO. 1630

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF ALLEYWAY WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.

WHEREAS, the alley hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Grand Junction Planning Commission and will not deprive anyone of access to property and will be beneficial to the citizens;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

That that part of an alleyway in Lot 2, Block 1, Fairmount Subdivision, Section 12, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Ute Meridian, Mesa County, Colorado, being more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at the Southwest Corner of said Lot 1, Block 1; Thence North 25.00 feet; Thence East 150.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning; Thence North 139 feet; Thence East 90.00 feet; Thence South 18.00 feet; Thence West 72.00 feet; Thence South 121.00 feet; Thence West 18.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning,

be, and the same is hereby vacated, subject to easements for existing utilities.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of October, 1976.
