ORDINANCE NO. 1634

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF ROAD WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.

 

WHEREAS, the portion of road hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

 

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Grand Junction Planning Commission, and would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

That the portion of road within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, described as follows:

 

That portion of Noland Avenue lying between Lots 3 and 13 in Haggerty Subdivision,

 

be, and the same is hereby, vacated, subject to easements for existing utilities.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of November, 1976.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1634, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 20th day of October, 1976, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
