ORDINANCE NO. 1638

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1630 VACATING AN ALLEY WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1630 was passed and adopted vacating the within described alley; and

WHEREAS, the description appearing in said Ordinance was incorrect;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

That the description contained in Ordinance No. 1630 should read as follows, and the portion of alley described as:

That part of Lot 2, Block 1, Fairmount Subdivision, Section 12, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Ute Meridian, Mesa County, Colorado, being more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at the Southwest Corner of said Lot 2, Block 1; thence 25.00 feet; thence East 150.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning. Thence North 139.00 feet; thence East 110.00 feet; thence Northeasterly 31.6 feet to a point on the East line of said Lot 2, said point being 126 feet South of the Northeast Corner of said Lot 2, Block 1, Fairmount Subdivision; thence South 18 feet; thence Southwesterly 31.6 feet; thence West 92 feet; thence South 121 feet; thence West 18 feet to the True Point of Beginning, be vacated,

subject to existing easement for utility purposes.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of November, 1976.
