ORDINANCE NO. 1646

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING UTILITY EASEMENT IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

 

WHEREAS, the utility easement hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

 

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That the following utility easement within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:

 

Being 7 1/2 feet either side of the common boundary of Lots 2 and 3, Block 1, Prospect Park Subdivision extending from the South right of way line of Mesa Avenue to the North right of way line of an 18 foot alley dedicated in Book 550, Page 279;

 

ALSO, 7 1/2 feet either side of the common boundary of Lots 28 and 29, Block 1, Prospect Park Subdivision extending from the South line of an 18 foot alley dedicated in Book 550, Page 279, to the North right of way line of Texas Avenue;

 

ALSO, 7 1/2 feet either side of the common boundary of Lots 2 and 3, Block 2, Prospect Park Subdivision extending from the South right of way line of Texas Avenue to the North line of a 16 foot alley dedicated in Book 550, Page 279;

 

ALSO, 7 1/2 feet either side of the common boundary of Lots 28 and 29, Block 2 extending from the South line of a 16 foot alley dedicated in Book 550, Page 279, to the North right of way line of Elm Avenue;

 

be and the same is hereby vacated.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of January, 1977.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1646, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 15th day of December, 1976, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
