ORDINANCE NO. 1672

AN ORDINANCE VACATING PORTIONS OF A STREET AND OF AN ALLEY WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION

WHEREAS, portions of a street and an alley within the City, as hereinafter described, have been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Grand Junction Planning Commission, and would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

That portions of a street and an alley within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, described as follows:

PARCEL NO. 1

Commencing at a point 10 feet west of the Southeast Corner of Block 16 of Milldale Subdivision, thence West along the South boundary line of Block 16 of Milldale Subdivision to a point 10 feet West of the Southwest Corner of Block 16 of Milldale Subdivision, thence South to a point 10 feet West of the Northwest Corner of Block 23 of Milldale Subdivision, thence Easterly along the North line of Block 23 of Milldale Subdivision to a point 10 feet west of the Northeast Corner of Block 23 of Milldale Subdivision thence North to the point of beginning,

AND

PARCEL NO. 2

Commencing at a point 10 feet west of the Southeast Corner of Lot 17 of Block 23 of Milldale Subdivision, thence West along the South line of Lots 7 through 17, both inclusive, of Block 23 of Milldale Subdivision to the Southeast Corner of Lot 6 of Block 23 of MIlldale Subdivision, thence South to the Northeast Corner of Lot 29 of Block 23 of Milldale Subdivision, thence East along the North line of Lots 28 through 18, both inclusive, of Block 23 of Milldale Subdivision to a point 10 feet west of the Northeast Corner of Lot 18 of Block 23 of Milldale Subdivision, thence North to the point of beginning,

be, and the same are hereby, vacated.

This Ordinance is being passed and adopted to correct Ordinance No. 1661, passed and adopted February 16, 1977, and recorded in the records of the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder at Book 1095, Page 645 on February 24, 1997.
