ORDINANCE NO. 1681 E

ORDINANCE REDUCING THE SEWER CHARGE FOR COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES INCLUDING HOTELS AND MOTELS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

1. That Section 25-47(a)(5) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as follows:

Sec. 25-47. Service charges; hookup permit.

(a)(5) Commercial properties including hotels and motels

. . . (10%) of the charge made for Water Rate No. 1 to the closest multiple of $.05 with minimum charge of $2.05

2. This Ordinance shall expire on May 1, 1978, and the charge shall revert to that in existence on the date of the adoption of this Ordinance.

3. That an emergency exists and this Ordinance is necessary for the peace, health and safety of the citizens of the City of Grand Junction and will become effective upon its passage.
