ORDINANCE NO. 1687

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION THROUGH CHANCES IN TEXT.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

1. That Section 4.8 of Subsection a of Section 3 of Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to read as follows:

4.8 Retail Business, Limited, Outside . . . consists of open land or lot for amusement businesses such as play parks, drive-in theaters, golf driving range, miniature golf, outdoor swimming pool, trampoline centers as well as greenhouses or nurseries but not outdoor storage or other landscaping materials such as decorative rock, wood or gravel except as normal accessory use to nurseries or greenhouses.

2. That Section 11b in Lot Street Frontage and Lot Line Front Definitions of Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to read as follows:

Lot Street Frontage . . . distance along a property line directly adjacent to a street.

Lot Line, front . . . the property line dividing a lot from a street. On a corner lot all lot lines along streets will be treated as front lot lines for set-back purposes.

3. That Subsection 1, paragraph e of Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances be, and the same is hereby repealed.
