ORDINANCE NO. 1690

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING PORTIONS OF STREETS AND AN ALLEY WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

 

WHEREAS, the following portions of streets and an alleyway in the City of Grand Junction have been petitioned for vacation; and

 

WHEREAS, such streets and alleyway have not been opened or used, the vacation thereof has been approved by the Planning Commission and the vacation would not deprive any land of access;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That the following portions of streets and alleyway in the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, and described as:

 

That portion of 4th Avenue between the East right of way line of 10th Street and the East right of way line of 11th Street, subject to a 30 foot easement for water line which is 15 feet each side of the center line of the right of way and easements for other existing utilities;

 

All of the East-West alley in Block 17 of Milldale Subdivision lying between the East right of way line of 10th Street and the West right of way line of 11th Street, subject to easements for existing utilities; and

 

All of 11th Street from the North right of way line of 4th Avenue to a point 50 feet South of the South right of way line of 3rd Avenue, subject to easements for existing utilities,

 

be vacated, subject to the easements stated.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of July, 1977.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1690, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 15th day of June, 1977, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
