ORDINANCE NO. 1694

VACATING AN EASEMENT WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

WHEREAS, the easement hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the following easement within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:

The West 6 feet of the following described easement: Beginning 20 feet North of the Southeast Corner, Bookcliff View Subdivision, North to a point 10 feet South of the Northeast Corner, Bookcliff Subdivision, thence West 20 feet, thence South to a point West of the point of beginning, thence 20 feet west to Beginning,

be, and the same is, hereby vacated.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of July, 1977.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1694, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 6th day of July, 1977, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
