ORDINANCE NO. 1704

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A STREET WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS

WHEREAS, the within described portion of street has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such street vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission and would not deprive any land of access;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the following described portion of street located in the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:

The East ten (10) feet of Ninth Street right of way, adjacent to Lots 1 through 7, and the West ten (10) feet of Ninth Street right of way, adjacent to Lots 14 through 23 of the College Subdivision, Section 11, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Ute Meridian,

be vacated subject to easements for existing utilities.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of October, 1977.
