ORDINANCE NO. 1705

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A STREET WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS

WHEREAS, the within described portion of street has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such street vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission and would not deprive any land of access:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the following described portion of street located in the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:

Beginning at a point 5 feet East of the Northwest Corner of Lot 8 of Ormsbee Subdivision, Section 7, Township 1 South Range 1 East of the Ute Meridian; thence East 90.0 feet; thence along the arc of a 50.0 foot radius curve to the right 105.5 feet (the chord of which bears West 90.0 feet) to the point of beginning,

and

Beginning 650 feet West and 355 feet North of the Southeast Corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 7, Township 1 South, Range 1 East of the Ute Meridian; thence East 90 feet; thence along the arc of a 50 foot radius curve to the left 105.5 feet (the chord of which bears West 90 feet) to the point of beginning,

be vacated subject to easements for existing utilities.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of October, 1977.
