ORDINANCE NO. 1713

AN ORDINANCE VACATING CERTAIN EASEMENTS WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.

WHEREAS, Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health Services Corporation has petitioned the Council for vacation of the easements hereinafter described; and

WHEREAS, such easements are not necessary for utility use and serve no useful purpose for the City while providing a detriment to the proposed development of the land by the Corporation;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That those utility easements on Lots 4 and 5 in MESA PARK CENTER SUBDIVISION in the City of Grand Junction, as the same appear in Plat Book 9 at Page 174 in the records of the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder, be and the same are hereby vacated.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of December, 1977.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1713, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 16th day of November, 1977, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
