ORDINANCE NO. 1755

AN ORDINANCE VACATING RIGHT OF WAY IN THE CITY.

WHEREAS, the portion of right of way hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the following portion of right of way within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:

The South thirty feet of F1/4 Road lying West of the West right of way line of 14th Street and extending to the East right of way line of 13th Street according to the plat of Fairmount North, a Replat of Lots 57, 58, 59 and 60, Block 16 Fairmount Subdivision,

And

The South five feet of the South thirty feet of F1/4 Road lying East of the East right of way line of 14th Street to the West right of way line of 15th Street according to the plat of Fairmount North, a replat of Lots 57,58, 59 and 60, Block 16, Fairmount Subdivision,

be and the same is hereby vacated.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of July, 1978.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1755, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 5th day of July, 1978, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
