ORDINANCE NO. 1757
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of July, 1978, the City Council of the City of Grand Junction considered a petition for the annexation of the following described territory to the City of Grand Junction; and
WHEREAS, the City Council determined that said territory was eligible for annexation and that no election was necessary to determine whether such territory should be annexed as the petition was signed by the owner of one hundred percent of the territory petition for annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
That the following described territory, to wit:
MINERVA PARK, situated in the County of Mesa, State of Colorado, and being a part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 10, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point 427.50 feet North of the center of said Section 10; thence North 890.91 feet to the Northeast Corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 10; thence South 89° 55' 22" West, 1317.43 feet to the Northwest Corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 10; thence South 0° 04' 42" East, 891.25 feet; thence North 89° 54' 25" East, 1316.21 feet to a point on the East line of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter said Section 10, and the point of beginning. Also right of way for 25 1/2 Road on the East and Pinyon Avenue on the South,
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of August, 1978.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1757, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 19th day of July, 1978, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
