ORDINANCE NO. 1767

AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

WHEREAS, an alley within the City, as hereinafter described, has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Grand Junction Planning Commission, and would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

1. That an alley within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, and described as:

Beginning at the Northwest Corner of Lot 21, Block 2 of Craig's Subdivision, located in Section 11, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Ute Meridian, thence West 15 feet, thence South 122.5 feet, thence East 15 feet, thence North 122.5 feet to the point of beginning,

be and the same is hereby vacated, subject to easements for existing utilities.

2. This Ordinance is adopted to correct an error in Description in Ordinance 1734 of the City.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of September, 1978.
