ORDINANCE NO. 1775

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF A STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grand Junction has been petitioned to vacate a portion of a street hereinafter described; and

WHEREAS, the vacation of said street has been approved by the Grand Junction Planning Commission and would not deprive anyone of access to property;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the portion of street situate in the County of Mesa, Colorado, and described as:

That portion of Bookcliff Avenue described as follows:

Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Lot 23, Fairmount Subdivision, thence West to the Northwest Corner of Lot 23 Fairmount Subdivision, thence North 30 feet, thence East to a point North of the point of beginning, thence South to the point of beginning, all located in the Northwest Quarter of Section 12, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Ute Meridian,

be and the same is hereby vacated, subject to easements for existing utilities.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of October, 1978.
