ORDINANCE NO. 1777

AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

WHEREAS, an alley within the City, as hereinafter described, has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Grand Junction Planning Commission, and would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

That an alley within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, and described as:

The East-West alley, Mobley Subdivision, Block 4, EXCEPT that portion thereof which is a part of the North-South alley in said Block,

be and the same is hereby vacated.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of November, 1978.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1777, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 18th day of October, 1978, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
