ORDINANCE NO. 1778
AN ORDINANCE VACATING STREETS AND AN ALLEY WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grand Junction has been petitioned to vacate a portion of streets and an alley hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, the vacation of said streets and alley has been approved by the Grand Junction Planning Commission and would not deprive anyone of access to property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
That the streets and alley situate in the County of Mesa, Colorado, and described as:
Parcel No. 1
The unvacated portion of Second Avenue situated East of the East line of South Tenth Street; and
Parcel No. 2
The unvacated portions of South Eleventh Street situated South of D Road and North of Winters Avenue; and
Parcel No. 3
That portion of Third Avenue which lies East of a line which starts at a point on the South line of Lot 22 of Block 14, Milldale Subdivision, which is 15 feet East of the Southwest Corner of said Lot 22 and proceeds directly South to a point on the North line of Lot 11 of Block 17 of Milldale Subdivision which is 15 feet East of the Northwest Corner of said Lot 11; and
Parcel No. 4
That part of the East-West alleyway situated in Block 14 of Milldale Subdivision which lies East of a line which commences at a point on the South line of Lot 11 of Block 14 of Milldale Subdivision 15 feet East of the Southwest Corner of said Lot 11 and proceeds to a point on the North line of Lot 22 of Block 14 of Milldale Subdivision which is 15 feet East of the Northwest Corner of said Lot 22,
be and the same is hereby vacated, subject to easements for existing utilities.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of November, 1978.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1778, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 18th day of October, 1978, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
