ORDINANCE NO. 1785

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

WHEREAS, a street within the City, as hereinafter described, has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Grand Junction Planning Commission, and would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the following street within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:

Beginning at the Northwest Corner of the South Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 11, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Ute Meridian; thence East along the North line of said South Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter, 475 feet, thence South 35 feet, thence on a curve to the right with a radius of 50 feet for 145.53 feet, radius point of said curve to be 35 feet South and 425 feet East of the point of beginning, thence on a curve left with a radius of 15 feet for 20.07 feet to a point 360 feet East and 35 feet South of the point of beginning, thence West 360 feet, thence North 35 feet to the point of beginning EXCEPT the West 25 feet. Above right of way originally deeded as recorded in Book 816 at Page 138, Mesa County Records,

be and the same is hereby vacated, subject to easement for existing utilities.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of December, 1978.
